Front desk quantitative developer:

Job description:

The front desk quantitative developers expand and maintain our trading 
capabilities in various markets around the world. Typical responsibilities 
include:
* Adding new capabilities to our software libraries for automated trading;
* Maintaining, bug-fixing, and enhancing our software infrastructure;
* Coding connections to new markets;
* Optimizing the performance of our systems;
* Building risk management and performance tracking tools;
* Coding trading algorithms for strategies;
* Maintaining, enhancing backtest simulator;
* High frequency strategy research;

Qualification:

* Expert C++ programming skills, along with STL, Boost, networking, 
threading;
* Ability to write sizable applications and manage complexity using software 
engineering best-practices, and other methods;
* Familiarity with python, bash;
* Excellent problem-solving skills;
* Effective communicator and decision maker;
* Linux experience;

The following skills are bonus:

* Familiar with Linux kernel;
* Experience with hardware development, e.g. NIC, video card etc.;
* System administration experience;
