== Research fellow position at NTU, Singapore ==
The Data Analytics Research group in the Rolls-Royce@NTU Corporate
Laboratory at Nanyang Technological University has one postdoctoral research
fellow opening in the areas of Data Mining and Machine Learning.
The position involves conducting research on mining spatio-temporal
computational fluid dynamics (CFD) data, designing novel scalable and
effective algorithms/methods to discover insightful knowledge from the data,
developing and implementing prototypes to demonstrate the practical
application of the research.
The position is for 2.5 years, starting from January 2015. The salary starts
from SGD 4,500/month and is negotiable depending on the qualification and
experience.
Job requirements:
(1) Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline
with a focus on Data Mining/Machine Learning;
(2) Capability of conducting independent research, preferably with
experiences in developing and deploying machine learning technologies in
both academic and industrial environments;
(3) Excellent programming skills in, e.g., Python, Matlab, C++;
(4) Expertise on CFD, knowledge and experience on applying Machine Learning
for CFD data analytics would be a plus.
