思科多媒体组主要负责思科互联网应用产品（Cisco Webex, Cisco Jabber等）的多媒体
模块,主要由科大校友组成。我们的多媒体引擎已经被定为思科多媒体软件的标准，所有
软件产品都将使用.我们的H.264 Codec已经被思科作为WebRTC的标准编解码器完全免费
的开源给全世界使用（http://github.com/cisco/openh264/ ），Mozilla已于2014.
10以默认插件的方式在
FireFox中自带此编解码器（大家可以在最新的Firefox附加组件中看到）。

Media Application Engineer
Job Description:
As a Media Application Engineer, you will participate in the research and 
development of the next generation of Cisco-Webex multimedia communication 
system. You will have the opportunity to work with an excellent team of 
scientists and engineers to develop software for video/audio compression, 
pre-/post-processing, and transmission over IP networks. You will be 
responsible for:
1.    Analyzing and shaping the direction of advanced video coding tools and 
video transmission techniques to ensure the best video quality.
2.    Study and design advanced algorithms for H.264/H.265 based error 
resilient video communication system.
3.    Design and implement channel coding and adaptation strategy to ensure 
service quality in real network.
4.    Implement audio processing module, including audio codec, AEC, NS etc.
5.    Join a team to create an advanced media testing framework for media
quality evaluation and media software testing.
6.    Participate fully in the entire product development cycle, from 
algorithmic development, software implementation, software testing and 
customer support.
7.    Interact with various groups in the company to deliver compelling 
software product to customers.

Requirements:
1.    PhD or Master in Computer Science or Mathematics Science or Electronic 
& Information Science.
2.    Proficient in C/C++.
3.    Experience in multimedia applications, preferably more than 3 years. 
4.    Experience with multiple development environments (Windows, Linux, Mac,
iOS, Android, WinPhone).
5.    Team-worker with excellent communication skills
