As a senior big data software engineer, you will participate in the full 
lifecycle of big data research, feature prototype/design/development. Your 
main duty is optimizing SQL stack in Hadoop ecosystem. You will also need to 
innovatively solve these bottlenecks/gaps by leveraging latest Intel 
technologies. You will work with both Hadoop committers and Intel 
engineering specialist to improve big data ecosystem and its use experience 
on Intel platform (both performance and usability) and contribute directly 
to community. You will join an experienced world class engineering team who 
has successful record on mentorship, and you will learn the cutting edge 
technologies related with Hadoop, big data and Intel Platform. You will not 
only build solid strong engineering skills but also establish connections/
relationships with top programmer across world. It is a great opportunity to

Role & Responsibilities:
    Optimize, enhance SQL stack in Hadoop ecosystem
    Research on existing Hadoop technologies and writing technical reports
    Brainstorm and path-find for improving Hadoop ecosystem using latest 
Intel technologies
    Prototype/design/develop big data SQL features
    Optimize for whole big data stack
    Identify/Fix bugs both in Hadoop system and related tools
    Present technical research papers/reports internally and externally
Required Skills/Experience:
    Strong academic background on computer science and technologies,include 
computer architecture, operating system, data structure & algorithm, 
distributed system, and compiler techniques;
    Solid programming skills include C/C++, Java, script language with 
proven record;
    Have deep knowledge on JVM, compiler, LLVM is a big plus;
    Strong performance analysis and troubleshooting with proven record;
    Have experience on multi-thread programming, socket programming and 
JNI programming;
    Have deep understanding of Intel server technologies is a plus;
    Have deep knowledge on distributed system is a plus;
    Fast learning and can-do attitude, interesting in Hadoop/BigData area;
    Good English communication skill include verbal and writing skills;
    Team work and collaboration spirit;
    Master in computer science or have proven record as skilled software 
developer
