You will work on Intel QuickAssist Technology (Intel® QAT) products driver development and test. Intel® Quick Assist Technology (Intel® QAT) is designed to address bottlenecks in information security and data compression of network platforms, data centers and cloud platforms. It is used to improve the performance of related applications and offloads the CPU of core servers. Intel® QAT is leading acceleration solution in the industry and is widely used in various network infrastructures, cloud platforms and big data platforms. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and unit/function/performance testing Linux Driver to support new hardware features of QAT product. You will be expected to participate in Agile software development practices, including Sprint planning and tracking, development and peer review of written software design specifications, peer review of developed code, test specification and preparation of code metrics. Qualifications: Basic requirements: -- Good in software optimization and Linux Driver (Kernel/User Space) code development -- Good in development Linux environment -- Good C/C++ Programming -- Good problem solving skills -- Good communication skills. -- Ability to work and deliver under tight schedules Added Advantage: -- Background in Network protocols (TCP/IP, IPsec, SSL, etc.), and cipher algorithms (AES, RSA, etc.). -- Experience of open source community development -- Specific development experience following formal SW development life cycles -- Knowledge of Git or similar configuration management tools. Linux Driver Test Intern Job Description: In this position, you will join the Network Platforms Group under Data Center Group in China as software intern. You will work on Intel® QuickAssist Technology (Intel® QAT) products driver test. Intel® Quick Assist Technology (Intel® QAT) is designed to address bottlenecks in information security and data compression of network platforms, data centers and cloud platforms. It is used to improve the performance of related applications and offloads the CPU of core servers. Intel® QAT is leading acceleration solution in the industry and is widely used in various network infrastructures, cloud platforms and big data platforms. You will be responsible for review and analyze the reports (e.g. one stop shop and Jeckins), resolve build issues, resolve project violations/issues, e.g. Git, Klocwork, Bullseye, Protex, Virus scan, etc., debug and troubleshooting the failures in the test reports, fix environment/test-case issues, submit or fix the bug in source code, Maintain build and test framework Qualifications: Basic requirements: -- Good in Perl/Python shell scripting -- Good problem solving skills,and debugging in Linux environment -- Familiar with Linux environment -- Knowledgeable for C/C++ Programming -- Good communication skills. -- Ability to work and deliver under tight schedules Added Advantage: -- Familiar with Git, Gerrit, Jira, Klocwork or other industry standard tools -- Good in Linux Driver (Kernel/User Space) code debugging -- Experience of open source community development -- Specific development experience following formal SW development life cycles -- Knowledge of Git or similar configuration management tools. |
